The Buttery

The Buttery is situated just outside the main house and overlooks a charming courtyard to the front and the lawns and the river to the rear. It features a kitchen-sitting room area with log burner, a twin bedroom, and a beautiful en-suite.

It’s a cosy room, warm and inviting in the colder months but open to the wonderful outdoors during the spring and summer.

Booked for a long weekend (3 nights) – saw on Wolsley Lodge website & TA.
Jean & John are great hosts & the place itself is lovely; we stayed in the Carrick Room which is grand & comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent.

Try this place out if in the area – it’s very pleasant, interesting & I’m sure you would not be disappointed.
