SITTING ROOM

This charming room is available to all our guests with its own TV and plentiful, comfortable seating making it perfect for a small conference or just a chat with friends. There is a fully functioning open fire which we tend to have going from the first of the autumn chills till around bluebell time in the spring.

John loves this room especially as it was the playroom for him and his siblings seventy years ago.

DINING ROOM

If you want grandeur, this is it. The stunning central table can seat up to twelve people under its fabulous chandelier that looks so magical once dusk has fallen over the lawns, the river and the flood plain. This beautiful room features French windows leading to the terrace and the river beyond. Dine in summer to the sound of the swifts and the occasional plop of a large, rising chub in the river.

This is where you enjoy the legendary Castle Farm breakfast prepared by the team in the farmhouse kitchen just down the hallway. A fabulous meal and you know that your comfortable bed waits for you just above.

KITCHEN

We put out our list of cooked breakfast options for you to fill in during the evening and leave by the kitchen door. This is a family run kitchen and all our food is freshly prepared, so this helps us make sure you are not kept waiting.

For those of you preferring a continental-style breakfast, you will find fruit, yogurt, cereals, beverages and toast, the bread, of course, being from our local bakery.

About The Farm

We have geese, and swans plus, of course a large number of cattle.

Any four-legged visitors to the farm have to appreciate that they cannot chase the residents.
