Butler’s Room

Located in the Attic (on the second floor) this room has views out to the garden. The bathroom is in the room, although private. The room has low beams.

We recommend the Butlers and Attic Rooms if looking for a family room as both rooms are accessed off the same landing which has access to a fridge and microwave. Stairs can be protected with a baby gate.

Testimonials

This is a first rate establishment.
Off the beaten track, so only the sounds of birds and the cattle. Relaxing!

The house is large, and well furnished with period pieces....but the facilities are fully up to date.....loved the large bath, and pity I did not bring my mask and snorkel for an even fuller experience!

We had a large comfortable room, large beds and snowy linen. Breakfast at whatever time we requested. We like a good start to the day, and the breakfast certainly did that.....fresh fruit, yoghurts etc. plus a good cooked breakfast with some choices apart from the full English....it is not always easy to get scrambled eggs just right, but ours were, and the salmon was excellent.

We also enjoyed the traditional breakfast one day. The host, Jean, also makes her own marmalade, and it was good...we also make our own, so we reckon we know a good one when we taste it.

Jean was a first rate host, with lots of helpful local knowledge which was so useful.

A first rate experience!
