Huntsman
This suite of rooms has emerged from the shell of the former stables and John remembers the family’s horses being tethered here when he was a lad.
It is perfect for a more self-contained stay on the farm. The beautiful vaulted sitting room features a wood-burner for those crisp autumn, winter and spring nights. There is a baronial double bed, a smart bathroom and a fully fitted kitchen.
The front door gives access onto the charming little courtyard whilst another double doorway leads you to the gardens and to the river, the most idyllic place to have a picnic or a barbecue in those long summer evenings.
Prices subject to seasonal change.

Testimonials
Our stay at Castle Farm was wonderful. After a long drive it was so nice to be welcomed so warmly by Jean and shown to our room 'The Huntsman', which is part of the converted stable block. More of a suite than a room, with a large very comfy bed, spacious sitting area, kitchen and all mod cons bathroom.
Despite being close to the cow shed, we had a very peaceful and undisturbed night and the room was very cosy and warm.
Breakfast was a feast, with many ingredients produced on the farm and throughout our stay Jean could not have been more accommodating. We brought our dog, which necessitated her to re-allocate our rooms, so that we could be in one of the ground floor dog-friendly rooms.
A late check-out was no issue and we returned after our daytime engagement to change for the journey home.
Our only regret was that it was too short and we didn't have time to make the most of our time at Castle Farm.
