This year the Charity we are supporting is the Dereham 1st Scout Group by selling and using homemade jams and jellies, the fruits are gathered from the hedgerows on our farm.

Five Star Accomodation

Carrick's at Castle farm is a Five Star Gold Award Property and has a long history of house guests and visitors. It is open year round. We aim to cater for all the needs of all of our guests to ensure that their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 

The drawing room like all reception rooms has a large open real fire, perfect for unwinding before and after dinner. It is furnished with antique furniture, old family portraits and comfortable sofas..

The dining room,  looks out over the lawn sloping down to the River Wensum. In the summer drinks and tea are served in the garden just above the water. This is also a great spot for watching sunsets in summer and autumn.
